Principal Consultant and Genealogist

Patrick is the principal consultant and genealogist of Vexillum Global. What began as a personal passion for finding historical relevance in family history rapidly evolved into a commanding expertise. Over the past decade, Patrick has mastered the intricate landscape of international archives, civil registries, ecclesiastical records, and consular protocols. He has obtained genealogical documents from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, Ireland, Poland, Netherlands, Spain, Cuba, Mexico, Romania, Ukraine, and Saint Pierre et Miquelon. A lifelong student of history, he approaches every case as a generational puzzle, where the solution typically requires the acquisition of an array of obscure antique documents.

He holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) from the Walsh School of Foreign Service and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He also received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at the University of Southern California. Currently, he is a candidate for the Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law (GDipICL) at Queen’s University at Kingston.

Vexillum Global

As a service founded to help clients navigate citizenship by descent, the company is named after a Roman vexillum, a military banner carried by legions of the Roman Republic. As a precursor to the modern flag, it represents a foundational concept now associated with nation states, identity, and citizenship.
